Justice finally prevailed last Wednesday when knife monster Ronnie Coulter was found guilty of his murder.

The Wishaw Press were out on the street giving readers their say on the verdict.

Donna Hamilton said a guilty verdict has been a long time coming.

She added:“It’s about time. Finally justice for the family. I’m glad he didn’t get let off with it for a second time.

“The case has dragged on for far too long.

“It must have been horrible for his family.” Mary Ryan agreed. She said: “I remember it well. It was horrific. ”We were all shocked when we found out what had happened.

“Hopefully this guilty verdict will give the family the closure they need and they can try and move on with their lives.”

Jack Young, pictured with his grandson Seth, said:”Some closure at last.

“At least now both families can move on. I can only imagine what they must have went through over the years.

“I feel really sorry for Chhokar’s family but I assume Coulter has a family too.

“They must have been put through a lot too.” About time Donna Hamilton Hard time for both families Jack Young and Seth Closure for the family Mary Ryan
