October Week fun for youngsters
A packed programme of October week fun is on offer at sports centres across North Lanarkshire.
Youngsters can sign up for kids clubs, football, tennis, dancing, athletics and swimming lessons during the school holidays.
It all kicks off on Monday 17 through to Friday 21 October.
Football sessions are taking place at Broadwood, Ravenscraig and Townhead Community Centre in Coatbridge.
Tennis will be taking place on the special indoor court at Ravenscraig and outdoor at Broadwood with LTA qualified coaches for children of all ages.
Dance lessons are taking place at Broadwood and Ravenscraig featuring hip hop, cheerleading, musical theatre and MTV dance.
Track and field sports including the high jump, hurdles, sprints, endurance, relays, shot putt, discus, hammer and javelin will be running all week at Ravenscraig.
Nicky Laughlin, sports co-ordinator with NLL said:“Our programmes offer a great place for kids to keep active during the school holidays.
“We want to encourage kids to lead a healthy lifestyle and our range of activities gives parents and carers a huge choice to get youngsters out for some fun and exercise during the holidays.”
