Cleland head coach Ronnie Blackburn praised the effort of his boxers.

He said: “The boys all had a great night and it was great for us to have so many boxers out and for them to pick up wins.

“We’ve got a lot of young talent at the club and it’s always good for them to be able to go out and show what they can do in front of a crowd.

“Every boxer was exceptional on the night and all the coaches are proud of them.

“I’d also like to thank Lanark Round table and coaches James Doherty, Steven Newns, Kenny Davidson, Joe Townsley and Peter McGuigan. If it wasn’t for these guys, Cleland would cease to exist.

“A special thanks to our main sponser Ingen Technical Services and the Western District officials.”
