U15 SCOTTISH CUP Braidhurst under 15’s run in the Scottish Cup came to a cruel end on Thursday evening as they were edged out on penalties away to St. Ninian’s High School in Kirkintilloch.

The visitors had dominated the game and deservedly led thanks to a well-taken goal from Dylan Morrow.

The hosts equalised from a free kick in the dying seconds of the match and then went on to win on penalties 4-1.

They now turn their attention to the Lanarkshire Cup where they hope to go one better than last year and win it.

Dylan Campbell then doubled the visitors lead with a left footed strike that found the back of the net via the post.

Duncanrig managed to halve the deficit to ensure a nervy finish to the match but Braidhurst held on to deservedly win the tie.

Mr Clarke and Mr O’Toole were delighted to see the boys progress into the quarter-finals where they will now face the prospect of yet another away tie.
