Summer activities underway at Dalziel St Andrew’s Church
The Summer Sunday school and Summer Creche has begun at Dalziel St Andrew’s Church in Motherwell. It will run until August 13. Families are urged to bring the children along at 11am each week while the morning service takes place.
They will gather in the halls for stories, fun and games. All are very welcome. This Sunday, following morning worship, an American brunch, will take place in the large hall with loads of pancakes, bacon, etc. Cost remains at £3 for adults and £1.50 for children. The brunch is open to all. The morning worship starts at 11a.m. and is available also via the church website (dalzielstandrews.org.uk).
Either at the church or via the online service the needs of the deaf and hard of hearing are catered for by a BSL Signer and an Electronic Notetaker.
This year’s Summer Holiday Club, for primary school aged children, will take place from Monday, July 24, until Friday, July 28, starting each day at 11am.
Plenty of fun and games plus a lunch for all.
For the first time the Annual Conference and AGM for the Scottish Churches Disability Group will take place in Motherwell.
This will be at DStA on Saturday September 30 from 11am.
The event will be fully accessible to all. For further details or a booking form please contact Alex Baird (262915).
Counselling is a new service available at the church and allows individuals and couples to speak to a qualified and experienced counsellor in confidence.
