Camera Club The club’s meeting held last Friday saw a presentation by Des Clinton, FRPS, a highly respected photographer from Drogheda in Ireland. Several guests and members of other clubs attended and a wonderful night was had by all. Des presented an amazing selection of photographs as well as a couple of AV presentations on a wide variety of subjects. These ranged from farming in Eastern Europe, street life in Belfast and life in a Cistercian monastery to Ireland’s abandoned cottages. Each included some wonderfully intimate images and all were accompanied by a very knowledgeable and entertaining commentary from him. It was a fabulous evening and a true inspiration to any aspiring photographer.
