Man accused of attack on woman
A man is due to stand trial in June accused of assaulting a woman at her home in Motherwell.
Daniel Hamilton is said to have pushed the woman on the body at her home in Mossbank Crescent on October 27 last year.
It is alleged he then repeatedly punched her on the head and bit her on the head.
Hamilton, of Kirkness Street, Airdrie, denies the charge.
The 35-year-old also pleaded not guilty to behaving in a threatening manner on the same date by shouting, swearing and making derogatory remarks.
It is alleged Hamilton committed these offences while he was on bail.
Hamilton is expected to stand trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court on June 7.
