Admits giving a false name to cops
A man has admitted trying to pervert the course of justice by pretending to police he was someone else.
Sean Reilly stood in the dock at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week and admitted stating to the two officers he was another man when they called at his home in Netherwood Tower, Motherwell, on January 27 this year.
Reilly, who did this to attempt to pervert the course of justice, was on bail at the time of the incident.
The 23-year-old had his case deferred by Sheriff Allan Mckay until July 9.
The Sheriff warned Reilly this was to be prove that he could be of good behaviour.
