Bon­kle Par­ish Church ser­vice, Sun­day school and creche at 12 noon this Sun­day. Speak to the min­is­ter if you know of any­one who re­quires a pas­toral visit. Com­puter club meets from 10am to 1pm in the Bon­kle Church hall on Mon­days and bad­minton is held at 7.30pm in the large hall of the church. Char­ity shop at Manse Road, New­mains is open Mon­day to Thurs­day from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Oa­sis group meets in the small hall of Colt­ness Me­mo­rial church at 6.30pm on Tues­days. Arts and craft group meets in Bon­kle Church hall from 7pm to 9pm on Tues­days and new mem­bers will be made wel­come. Food bank thanks every­one for their con­tin­ued sup­port and is open in the vil­lage at 1pm on Wed­nes­days. Men’s and ladies club meets in the church hall at 7pm on Wed­nes­days. Bible study is held in the of­fice of Colt­ness Me­mo­rial church at 10.30am on Thurs­day mon­rings. Thurs­day club meets in Bon­kle Church hall at 2pm ev­ery Thurs­day af­ter­noon and Colt­ness men’s club meets in Colt­ness Me­mo­rial church at 7.30pm that evening with choir prac­tise in the church at 8pm. Rain­bows Brown­ies and Guides meet in Bon­kle Chuch hall at the usual times on Fri­days. Spring fash­ion show is be­ing held in Colt­ness Me­mo­rial church from 7pm to 9pm next Mon­day, April 16; tick­ets £3, avail­able from Fay Parker, Mar­garet Mur­doch or Irene Fer­ris. Arts and crafts show takes place in the vil­lage dur­ing the week com­menc­ing June 10.


Orange Halls Events be­gin this week with Craigneuk Branch Club Ap­pren­tice Boys of Derry meet­ing at 7pm tonight; bingo for eyes down on Mon­day nights at 7.30pm, all wel­come; Craigneuk True De­fend­ers Flute Band prac­tise on Tues­days at 7.30pm and Craigneuk Im­pe­rial Ladies Flute Band prac­tise ses­sions on Thurs­days at 7.30pm. New mem­bers are wel­come and tu­ition is avail­able if re­quired.


Over­town Par­ish Church ser­vice on Sun­day is at 11am. There will be a creche for younger chil­dren and the OK Club and B Club Seven meet in the church hall at 10.50am. All vis­i­tors wel­come. Women’s group The ladies still meet up for a “blether” and a cup of tea, from 7.30pm each week. The band Stu­dio 32 will per­form an open night at the church on May 2. All wel­come. Lunch club meets in the small church hall on Mon­days from 12 noon un­til 1.30pm. Hot and cold rolls, tea/cof­fee or juice and dessert costs £3. Sewing bee con­tin­ues in the small church hall on Mon­day evenings at 7pm. Arts and crafts are un­der­taken and help is avail­able. All wel­come.
