Dynamic girls bow out with a bang down south
Dynamic Gymnastics Academy’s Grade 5 trio signed off with a gold while representing Scotland.
The youngsters were competing for the last time at the grade at the Regional Finals in Southampton.
And they made sure it was a competition to remember when they lifted the top prize.
Suzy Miller, from Dynamic Gymnastics Academy, said:“Our girls performed fabulously and it was a fantastic result.
“It was an especially poignant experience for the Grade 5 trio as this was their last competition as Grade 5 as they are moving on to Fig 11-16. “They went out with a bang! “Coaches, parents and fellow gymnasts are extremely proud of all the girls.”
Grade 5 pair Hayleigh Patterson and Gemma Russell lifted silver medals, while Grade 4 pair Emma Logan and Isla Russell finished fifth.
Team Scotland took bronze medal overall.
Suzy added:“On our Artistic Gymnasts side we had two gymnasts Courtney Dunbar and Niamh Llewellyn pass their British compulsory two finals down in Stoke on Trent on May 13.
“Also representing Scotland for the first time were gymnasts Lisa McMonagle and Cara O’Donnell for Compulsory 4 British finals, also in Stoke on Trent.
