The PTA Quiz Night was held on Friday, May 18, in Dalziel Bowling Club.
A disco and buffet was enjoyed as was the quiz by Bill McCallum.
The NLC Excellence and Equity Awards took place on Wednesday, May 9, at Motherwell Concert Hall.
Dalziel High School was shortlisted in three categories for its work in the Mental Health Programme, STEM Programme and the Productive Partnership Industry work.
Dalziel won the Productive Partnership category for its education/industry partnership work with Morgan Stanley and WorleyParsons.
A group of S3 pupils comprising Callum Segeant, Colin Gass and Cameron Gunn has reached the final of this year’s Teentech 2018 competition.
Their idea is to have a cloudbased streaming of data from aeroplanes that can be used instead of the conventional black box.
The boys are now working on a prototype and will present their ideas at the final on Monday, June 25, at the Royal Society in London.
