Scarily good fun this Hallowe’en for pupils

Kids can’t wait for their night of spooky fun

- Ross Thomson

Hallowe’en is just around the corner and children from across Wishaw are looking forward to going out trick or treating.

Whether the kids are making their own costumes, dragging mum and dad around the shops or picking up a bargain online, Hallowe’en business is booming for many retailers.

Indeed figures last year showed the British public spent over £300 million as the popularity of the spooky celebration soars.

The nation’s top five Hallowe’en activities were carving a pumpkin, watching a scary film, dressing up in fancy dress or facepaint, decorating the home or garden and hosting or attending a party or dinner party.
