Dog owner search

The search to find the owner of a dog dis­cov­ered more than 300 miles from Wishaw ap­pears to be over.

A pho­to­graph of the beau­ti­ful pet pooch went vi­ral across so­cial me­dia in a des­per­ate at­tempt to re­unite it with its owner.

Tough­mutts Coun­try Pet Sup­plies, based in Staunton, Glouces­ter­shire, posted on Facebook last­thurs­day night with the post be­ing shared more than 3,500 times.

It states:“the mi­crochip­ping com­pany have fi­nally come back with some in­for­ma­tion.they have said she’s from Scot­land. She was chipped in 2016 in a place called­wishaw.

“Own­ers will need to con­firm chip num­ber and dogs reg­is­tered name.

“No an­swer from own­ers so they are writ­ing to them.

“She will go with the dog war­den and be held for eight days be­fore go­ing up for re­hom­ing with the for­est of dean re­hom­ing cen­tre.”

How­ever, a For­est of Dean District Coun­cil told thewishaw Press that although the Labrador was orig­i­nally reg­is­tered in Scot­land it was re­homed in Glouces­ter­shire two years ago.
