A blonde moment
Dalziel High proved blondes do have more fun with a fantastic staging of Legally Blonde.
Held between Monday, October 8, and Thursday 11, S2 to S4 pupils put on the fun and lively show with complex music, dialogue and staging.
The school’s press officer Dawn Whitelaw said: “As always the pupils and staff worked tirelessly for months to produce the high standard of performance witnessed each night and we are so very proud of them.
“Our annual school show is a wonderful opportunity for pupils with different interests and skills to contribute and work together, whether it is through performing on stage, producing scenery and props or managing sound and lighting. Congratulations go to all the cast and crew.
“We would also like to thank the following businesses for providing generous sponsorship: Hairport Hairdressers, Motherwell Mobility Centre, Deborah Welsh Commercial Media and Procast Building Contractors Ltd.”
The school are now gearing up for their Autumn Fayre. Hosted in conjunction with Rotary Club of Motherwell and Wishaw, the event will be held on Saturday, November 3 from 10am to 2pm. Entry is £2 which includes tea and coffee.
