With six players missing through injury and suspension, it was another tough test for the team.

Wishaw pressed Strathclyde for most of the first 20 minutes, with the opposition post and crossbar keeping the score line at 0-0.

Wishaw got the breakthrough when Billytweedie latched on to a Mark Brady cross and slotted home from six yards.

Soon after Strathclyde equalised against the run of play when their impressive number nine picked up on a loose pass.

Wishaw picked up the pace again andtweedie made it 2-1 soon after when he whipped in a cross which was deflected home by a defender.

In the second half the visitors looked the more likely to score and it came as no surprise when they equalised with 10 minutes remaining.

Butwishaw moved up the gears again before Captain Jamie Moir smashed home a curling shot from just outside the box with five minutes left.
