Caught stealing food from store

A shoplifter must keep out of trouble after being caught nicking items from a Wishaw store.

Bernard Docherty appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week and admitted stealing food items from the Iceland store inwishaw Main Street on May 1.

Docherty, of Glenburnterrace, had his sentence deferred until April 25 next year.

The 65-year-old must keep out of trouble until his next appearance in the dock.
