Prison after having fake bank note

A man who produced a fake bank note while he was in a Motherwell store has been jailed.

Samuel Napier admitted producing the counterfeit Bank of Scotland £20 note while he was in the Boots store in Motherwell’s Brandon Street.

The incident took place back in November 2016.

The 35-year-old , of Rochsoles Drive, Airdrie, was sentenced to four months in prison.
