Overtown

Overtown Parish Church Memorial service on Sunday will commemorate the centenary of the First World War One Armistice. The service begins at 10.45am, 15 minutes earlier than usual. There will be a creche for younger children, and OK Club and B Club Seven meet in the church hall at 10.45am till noon. All visitors to the church will be made welcome. Commemoration events begin with A Night of Nostalgia in the church on Saturday, from 7pm until 9pm. The evening will feature a selection of music, stories and memorabilia. There will also be contributions from the church’s youth organisations and representatives from the community. Tea/coffee and home baking will be served at the end of the evening. The
