Goalkeepertrevor Carson said picking up a win and a clean sheet was a“perfect day”.

Well’s back line kept their second clean sheet in the space of a week to keep all three points in North Lanarkshire.

Carson told the club’s official website: “That was the minimum.to get a clean sheet and get the goal on top of that is an all-round perfect day.

“We’re all buzzing. David’s strike was worthy to win any game.”
