Payback order after racist rant
Awishaw man has been put under supervision after behaving in a threatening manner at his home.
Robert Fallon stood in the dock at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week for sentencing after pleading guilty to the threatening behaviour charge.
On December 11, at his home address in Curlinghaugh Crescent, Fallon began shouting, swearing and made offensive and racist remarks.
He also uttered threats of violence and struggled with police.
During the incident, he violently lashed out with his arms and legs.
However, Fallon was cleared of assaulting two police officers on the same date when the charges were dropped by prosecutors.
The 54-year-old handed a 12-month community payback order with a supervision requirement as a result of his actions.
