Christmas has finally arrived
M&D’S spectacular Christmas activities are back after kicking off with the muchanticipated arrival of Santa to the Magical Wonderland and outdoor ice skating rink.
Santa made his grand entrance on a Christmas train marking the start of the festive season.
Festive revellers can expect to find a wonderful grotto, live reindeer, storytelling sessions and enchanting animated Christmas scenes as part of this year’s Santa’s Magical Wonderland.
Following the success of last year, M&D’S will once again have autismfriendly Santa’s Magical Wonderland sessions which will be quieter with adapted storytelling slots, enabling more families than ever before to enjoy its Christmas activities.
Matthew Taylor, M&D’S managing director, said: “Santa’s Magical Wonderland continues to grow in popularity each year.
“We are sure that this will be our best year yet as we’ve added even more for visitors to enjoy including a Bavarian bar serving hot mulled wine and hot spiced cider plus some outdoor festive market stalls.
“It is so important to us to deliver an unforgettable festive experience that can be enjoyed by all.
“For this reason, we are delighted to have added even more autismfriendly sessions this year.”
Visitors can also take a spin around the 25 metre open air ice rink, before warming up beside the cosy indoor fire pit and enjoying tasty treats.
Santa’s Magical Wonderland is now open and a full list of dates, times and prices can be found on the M&D’S website.
