Ro­tary wel­comes singing pupils

Mem­bers of Mother­well and­wishaw Ro­tary Club wel­comed pupils from St Ai­dan’s High School to their lat­est meet­ing.

The mem­bers were en­ter­tained by the pupils un­der the guid­ance of their mu­sic head teacher Celia Mceachen.

There were soloists and in­stru­men­tal­ists play­ing the sax­o­phone and the ukulele whilst the en­sem­ble per­formed a se­lec­tion of well known songs that had the mem­bers singing along with the pupils.

Past pres­i­dent Jim Peat gave a com­pre­hen­sive vote of thanks to all the pupils for their ef­forts on the evening.

Ro­tary pres­i­dent An­drew Steven is pic­tured with the St Ai­dan’s High mu­si­cal stars. Win­ter Warmer event will take place at the Made4u cen­tre in Green­field Drive, Wishaw on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 1, from noon till 3pm.
