Bonkle Parish Church service, Sunday school and creche is at noon on Sunday. Speak to the minister if you know of anyone who requires a pastoral visit. Charity shop at Manse Road, Newmains is open Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Computer club held in the large hall of Bonkle church at 10am and 1pm on Mondays, and badminton takes place in the large church hall at 7.30pm. Coltness guild meet in Coltness Memorial church at 1.45pm on Mondays, and the arts and crafts class is held in the church hall from 7pm to 9pm. Oasis group gathering is held at 6.30pm in the small hall of Coltness Memorial church on Tuesdays. Food Bank thanks everyone for their continued support is open in the village on Wednesdays at 1pm. Men’s and ladies club is held in the hall of Bonkle church at 7pm each Wednesday evening. Bible study gathers in the office of Coltness Memorial church at 10.30am on Thursdays, Thursday club is at 2pm, and choir practise is in the church at 7pm. Rainbows, Brownies and Guides meets at their usual times in Bonkle Church hall on Fridays. Slimming A new Slimming Worldclass has started in the large hall of Bonkle church at 8am on Saturday mornings. All are welcome to come along and try it out. Ladies fellowship group will next meet in the hall of Bonkle church at 7.30pm on December 4. The ladies will be entertaine­d by guest Ian Tennant, who will perform the songs of Harry Lauder.
