Community council would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended their recent fundraisin­g bingo event held to raise money for the annual cost of the upkeep of the village’s Christmas lights. With the help and support of the community an amazing amount of £1152.80 was raised. The organisers would like to thank everyone who attended on the night or donated towards the bingo prizes for their continued support. The main flier prize was won by Laura Cooper. The ‘light up Craigneuk’ event and Christmas fayre held last Friday in the Jim Foley Community Centre was a tremendous success and the organisers would like to thank all those who provided stalls of gifts and home baking, or came along to enjoy the festive fun. Parochial Hall AA meeting at 7pm to 9.30pm and jive class on Mondays 7.30pm to 9.30pm, Tuesdays - Irish dancing 6.30pm to 8pm and Jiggercize 8.15pm to 8.45pm, bingo on Wednesdays 7.30pm to 9pm, Thursday club 1pm to 2.30pm and bowling 7pm to 9.30pm. SGF: Mondays - abs attack 6pm, Tuesdays - super circuits 7pm, Wednesdays - kettle bells 6pm and combat class 7.30pm, Thursdays - pump class 7pm and Fridays - super circuits 6pm. Orange Halls Events begin tonight with a Craigneuk Branch Club Apprentice Boys of Derry meeting at 7pm. Craigneuk Imperial Ladies flute band practise at 7.30pm on Thursdays. Monday night bingo, eyes down is at 7.30pm, all welcome, and Tuesdays sees Craigneuk True Defenders flute band practice at 7.30pm.
