Allanton

Allanton Parish Church service, Discovery club and creche is at 12.30pm on Sunday. Lunch club is held in the senior citizens’ centre on Mondays and Wednesdays, and new members will be made most welcome. Mothers and toddlers’ group meets in Allanton church hall on Tuesdays at 10am, and the women’s guild meet in the church at 2pm. 1st Allanton Girls’ Brigade gather in the hall of Calderhead Erskine Parish church on Tuesdays, at their usual time. Street dance class is held in Allanton Church hall between 5.30pm and 7.15pm on Thursdays. Youth group meets in the senior citizens’ centre at 7pm on Fridays. Allanton Church’s Christmas lights will be switched on in the village at 6.30pm on Sunday, December 2, and the gift service will take place in the church on December 9.
