Awaiting sentence
A Coltness man who swallowed a consignment of drugs in front of police officers will have to wait until next month to learn his fate.
Samuel Durnion, of Innerleithen Drive, had been due to be sentenced at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week.
However, due to reports not being prepared his case was continued until February 7.
Twenty-year-old Durnion had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to swallowing the drugs in front of officers at an address in Bellshill Road, Motherwell, on December 8.
Durnion committed the offence while he was released on bail.
The accused also pleaded guilty to being outwith his bail address between the hours of his curfew.
