Scottish Water have insisted its water is safe to use after several Wishaw residents reported discoloure­d water coming from their taps. Several people from the town contacted the Wishaw Press regarding the problem which they have stated has been going for a couple of weeks.

I’ve drunk this water before I saw the news and it’s had my stomach churning.

I really don’t think it’s safe to drink at all

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced during her statement to the Scottish Parliament that members will debate and vote for the introducti­on of vaccine passports across the country. Readers were split on whether or not it was a good idea.

We keep hearing it’s to protect our heroes in the NHS yet our heroes can’t get a decent pay rise for all the work they have done.

We need more action and less words from the Health Minister he doesent seem to have much to say.
