Dear Editor,

Thanks to the dogma of Zero Waste Scotland, slavishly followed by Councils reducing collections, our bins are overflowing & streets strewn with windblown litter. Could I suggest running a rebranding competition for this overpaid & self-serving quango? Zero Results Scotland or Waste of Space are my entries. Kathryn Grant

Dear Editor,

As your readers are preparing for the festive season, we wanted to make sure they’re aware our postmen and postwomen now collect as well as deliver parcels to residents at their doorstep. And just this month, at Royal Mail we announced that you will no longer need a printer to use this service. Our local postmen and postwomen will now deliver pre-printed postage labels to customers who need them.

As the festive season approaches, I hope this service will make it easier for people in Wishaw to send parcels without leaving the comfort of their home. To book this service, simply go to the Royal Mail app or website and search for ‘Parcel Collect’.
