Thank you Wokingham for supporting your festival

THIS YEAR’S Wokingham Festival saw it move to a new location for the first time in 11 years to Cantley Park. Any concerns we may have had about the switch soon went away: the good residents of Wokingham turned up in their droves.

It was our busiest Festival ever and I want to say thank you Wokingham for supporting us.

The Festival could not happen without a lot of work from our team of volunteers and the Festival organisers would like to publicly thank everyone of them.

Their work behind the bar, in the car park and within the festival site picking up litter, cleaning the toilets etc was invaluable. It ensured the smooth running and that visitors had a great time.

Wokingham Festival is proud this year to have supported Orchid Cancer Charity Trust and particular thanks goes to Ian Wisdom and his team from Twyford Beer Festival for running the Beer Festival bar.

This year was the best ever, but work starts now to ensure next year’s will be better. Save the dates in your diaries now: August 24-26, 2018.
