Sumas Reserves thrash rock bottom Taplow

MATT BOOTH and Andrew Mcrae bagged braces as Wokingham and Emmbrook Reserves picked up just their second win of the season in the Premier Division.

Sumas have struggled this campaign but jumped onto six points from their 11 games after thrashing rock-bottom Taplow United 5-0.

Dan Machen got the ball rolling in the third minute before Mcrae and Booth took over with two goals each.

WOODLEY UNITED ROYALS are 10th after a

2-1 loss at Wright and Unity Sports, despite a goal from substitute Harrison Moore.

Joshua Bishop fired in a hat-trick as HURST moved through in the Reading Challenge Junior Cup with a 7-3 win over Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves.

Shaun Bannon, David Jackman and Steve Burgess (2) also scored in the rout.

FINCHAMPST­EAD suffered a third loss of the league campaign, going down 3-1 at Burghfield with Thomas Symss netting the only goal for Finches.

John Smith bagged four as AFC CORINTHIAN­S edged past Mortimer Reserves 6-5 in Division Two. James France and Daniel Huggins also scored for Corinthian­s in an 11-goal thriller at Cantley Park.

In the same league, Liam Besant, Ricky Pelham and Charlie Sumner cancelled out an early Daniel Adkins strike to earn FC WOODLEY a 3-1 win over HARCHESTER HAWKS.

In Division Three, Stuart Moss scored a hat-trick as WARGRAVE saw off Taplow United Reserves 5-1 with Callum Alliston and Michael Few also on target.

Late goals from Shamen Goswell and Jeremy West could not prevent defeat for WOODLEY UNITED A at home to Goring United, going down 4-2.

WOODLEY UNITED B were victorious in Division Four, easing past HARCHESTER HAWKS DEVELOPMEN­T 3-0 with goals from Callum FoxSpence (2) and Ashley Scott.

In cup action, HURST A lost 3-2 at home to Taplow United A despite goals from Arron Burch and Jesse Ryan in the Diamond Cup, while strikes from Andy Benyon, Mikey Jones and Jose Ribiero (2) saw TWYFORD AND RUSCOMBE past Maidenhead Town A in the BTC Junior Cup.
