Who’s Who honour for housing boss Bill
THE MANAGING director of a Wokingham housing association has been named one of the top performers in this year’s
Who’s Who Local Authority Development
List.
The list highlights and recognises the achievements of individuals within local authorities who are driving the development of housing, and is compiled by a panel of experts alongside Inside Housing.
Bill Flood, managing director of
Wokingham Housing Ltd (WHL), impressed the judges with the success of WHL and its sister organisations, Loddon Homes and
Berry Brook Homes, since his appointment in 2015.
The panel credited Bill as the driving force behind the high performance of the organisations and recognised him as one of the top performers in the country.
WHL was established in 2011 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Wokingham Borough Council, working to create good quality, energy efficient and environmentally friendly affordable and private market housing, and extra care accommodation.
The homes are completed to a high specification in line with WHLs set of values, with spacious rooms throughout.
Leader of the council, Cllr Charlotte
Haitham Taylor said: “I’m delighted Bill has received this much deserved recognition for his work with Wokingham Housing.
“This is a huge achievement for both Bill, and the council, and is a reflection of our innovation and vision in housing across the Wokingham Borough.”
