A Little Journey…

- By SUYASH AHUJA, Forest Academy

THEY had to run a long way to get here and now they weren’t sure what to do next. This had been a big decision for them.

Both of them were glad with the choice they had made; they had to breakout from that place somehow, and they had succeeded. Spending their whole lives there was not going to be an option. That would have been abhorrent. That place was more like a prison than a place where you live... but that is not the point.

The point is that throughout the year they had been caged in there, as if Mark was a peacock and

John a Tiger; ignoring the fact that John often did rage like a tiger! Mark was as handsome as a celebrity or a peacock, but that was not the point either. The point is that they had to find a way out and get justice, get the culprits incarcerated; back where they belong.

Currently resting in a luscious and walled garden, the duo pondered their next move.

Mark whispered something in John’s ear. John dashed towards the only entry/exit to the garden, fast and rangy like a tiger. While Mark remained, stretching like a peacock unfurling then parading his magnificent feathers. John hustled back after spotting a giant. John roared as loud as he could. Mark turned left; then right and his eyes met with the giant of a man. The giant had body guards who he quickly dispatched to capture the two boys. Mark and John took off and headed towards the exit of the garden.

Little did they know that it was too late and they already were surrounded by the 6-foot tall, bodybuilder meat heads. Mark and John looked and each other and they knew that their summer was over.
