IT’S pretty cool being awesome right? I know you will be feeling awesome if you read last week’s AWESOME column and actually implemente­d the action points. Three of my favourite lines are below:

“You are not here to be average; you are here to be AWESOME.”

“Feeling like you are bossing life, now that’s an AWESOME feeling.”

“Go grab every opportunit­y to feel AWESOME this week; I know you won’t regret it.”

Now I want to leave you with my favourite phrase of the moment… TAKE ACTION.

The path to success is to take MASSIVE DETERMINED ACTIONS.

Action is the FOUNDATION­AL key to all success.e

It is easy to sit up and take notice. What is difficult is getting up and TAKING ACTION.

Take ACTION. An inch of movement will bring you closer to your goals than a mile of intention.

This last weekend I was up in Hull at a relative’s Stag Do. We went in fancy dress and the theme was Peaky Blinders.

What can I write that will do the day and night justice?

To be honest, the whole night was a huge success from start to finish. Ironically one of my favourite moments from the whole weekend was having three-and-a-half hours sat in the car with my Dad.

You see, having that time in the car just me and my Dad, we were able to talk about so many things, one of those being some options for my dad and his injury and current situation.

Having a coach sharing the love of positive change and TAKING ACTION for that amount of time has to have an effect right?

Dad, if you are reading this, this is your public accountabi­lity I was talking about, your future is in your hands, OK?

We shall see over the coming weeks and months won’t we?

Now back to this week’s article.

This week I want to talk to you about just cracking on and getting some movement in your life when all doesn’t seem well. Let me explain.

When that alarm went off on Monday morning, I have no problem in saying I really wasn’t up for the day ahead.

After a stag do, I don’t think anyone is ever ready for action and ready to smash it. But this is where the negativity stopped for me.

You see, I honestly believe that we have the power to do anything we want in life.

Clearly the older we get, we get more commitment­s and more restrictio­ns but anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Every Monday morning I send out a WhatsApp motivation­al message. This goes out to current and former clients.

A few others have been added on over the last year or so too so if you want to be inspired and driven every single Monday then drop me a message and you can join the journey.

When I was sending this week’s message, I was actually inspiring myself at the same time and do you know what??

IT WORKED.

Here’s what the message said: “How about we own today? Start the week the right way. I was on a stag do this weekend up north and it was a Peaky Blinders theme. Unbelievab­le day and night and, to be honest, have felt much better previous week’s. This is the point. It’s just a state of mind and so is what you do with your day today. Be resourcefu­l, be energetic, be determined, be creative, and be passionate. It’s all up to you. Let’s have a smashing week and own it.”

Had a bad night’s sleep?

GO TO BED EARLIER TONIGHT AND GET THROUGH THE DAY TODAY.

Pulled a muscle in your shoulder?

TRAIN THE LOWER BODY AND REALLY HAMMER THOSE GLUTES, THEY DO NEED SOME EXTRA ATTENTION.

Feeling tired and hungover?

GET SOME FRESH AIR, ATTACK THE DAY AND LOOK FORWARD TO RELAXING AT THE END.

Feeling guilty after going off your training and nutrition plan?

OWN YOUR NEXT WORKOUT AND OWN YOUR INTAKE STARTING WITH HAVING A SUPER HEALTHY BREAKFAST.

Annoyed with your partner because they did something that annoyed you?

TELL THEM THAT YOU LOVE THEM, GIVE THEM A BIG KISS AND TELL THEM THEY OWE YOU A TREAT.

Feeling sad that it’s Monday and you don’t want to go to work?

GO TO WORK, WORK YOUR BUTT OFF, PAY FOR A COURSE IN SOMETHING YOU LIKE AND CHANGE YOUR JOB.

Upset that your timetable is a bit crazy?

BOOK IN SOME DOWNTIME AND BLOCK AT LEAST FOUR HOURS OUT.

Feel stressed and overwhelme­d?

TAKE 10 DEEP BREATHS, DO A 10-MINUTE MEDITATION AND THEN LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR BATH LATER IN THE EVENING?

Annoyed that a customer hasn’t paid you and they are ignoring an invoice?

RING ALL YOUR BEST CUSTOMERS AND ASK WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE FROM YOU? GIVE THE WOW FACTOR AND THEN YOU WON’T EVEN BE BOTHERED WITH A LATE PAYMENT AS YOUR BUSINESS WILL BE FLYING.

I could come up with a million examples but they all have one thing in common…

YOU… YOU have the power to change your future.

YOU can change a negative situation positively by owning your state of mind.

YOU are the one that has to TAKE ACTION. YOU CAN BE THE ULTIMATE DECIDING FACTOR WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR SUCCESSES.
