SONNING picked up another precious point in MBBO Regional 1 with a 2-2 draw at fellow strugglers Wallingford.

The pair have just four wins between them this campaign and the spoils were shared with Ian Gallagher and James Manser on target for the visitors. Sonning stay second from bottom of the table, one place below Wallingford.

SONNING 2s also had a tight game in Division 1, but were edged out 2-1 by Newbury and Thatcham 2s at Sonning Lane despite a goal from Elliott Wise.

Two goals from in-form Tom King could not prevent defeat for SOUTH

BERKSHIRE in Regional 2.

Berks competed well at unbeaten Aylesbury, but came out with a 4-3 loss with Mauritz Glazener the other scorer for the away side.

However, it was a good day for SOUTH BERKS 2s Division 2. SOUTH BERKS 3s 4s TERRIERS. SONNING’S

GOALS from Katharine Pike and Lucy Faulkner guided SONNING LADIES to yet another win in Trysports Premier 1.

Now with eight wins from eight, Sonning’s latest success came with a 2-0 win at Newbury and Thatcham.

In the same league the 2s lost 2-0 at home to Slough Ladies 2s while SOUTH

BERKSHIRE LADIES drew 0-0 against Oxford Ladies 3s at Birch Hill.

Sonning meet neighbours South Berkshire this Saturday (1.30pm).

In Division 1, SOUTH BERKSHIRE 2s eased past Bicester 3-0 to go top of the table while the 3s remain top of Division

3 after a 5-3 win over University of Reading 4s. And the 4s completed a fine week for Berks, beating Phoenix and Ranelagh 3s 3-0. But there were mixed results for the rest of the SONNING sides with the 3s losing 3-0 while the 4s won,

VETERANS lost and 5s drew.
