Cloud helps Redwood rise up
A LOCAL technology firm is celebrating after being named one of the best in the business.
Redwood Technologies Group, which is based over the border in Bracknell, has been judged to be the in the
Top 50 companies in the annual megabuyte50 awards, after improving on last year’s placement.
The awards are an independent ranking of the
UK’s best-performing, privatelyowned technology companies.
Rankings are compiled using Megabuyte’s proprietary Megabuyte Scorecard methodology, which scores companies against seven key growth-related financial KPIs. Redwood said that the rigour of Megabuyte Scorecard analysis, combined with a specific focus on pure-breed technology companies, has made the megabuyte50 awards the most influential benchmarking reference in the UK technology sector.
The company has moved up by five places in the rankings, making it second out of the eight Accounting and Enterprise Software companies who appear in the 2018 megabuyte50 Top 50.
Sean Taylor, Co-Founder and Global CEO of Redwood Technologies Group, said: “It’s fantastic to see the Group move into the top 10 of the megauyte50 rankings. Our revenues are increasing strongly, we’re expanding in key territories such as Asia-Pac and we have exciting new AI technology being released, so this is a very exciting time for the business.”
He added that the firm is continuing to reap the rewards of being an early Cloud pioneer in the enterprise contact centre market. In this field, most of the company’s success has been in the UK but it is now also well placed to target international markets, with the added financial support of SEP, a growing relationship with a leading Japanese partner in Rakuten, and a strategy to make the most of Germany’s changing view on Cloud-based solutions.
