Kaplanski is the hat-trick hero for South Berkshire
PAUL KAPLANSKI scored a hat-trick as South Berkshire 2s thrashed Ashford 2s in MBBO Division 2.
Michael Amor, Mike Baylis and Joseph Hayes all added braces with Daniel Ray and Des Saunders also on target in the 11-0 rout against winless Ashford.
Up in Regional 2, SOUTH
BERKSHIRE’S first team picked up an important point at Banbury 2s.
Tom King scored both goals for Berks to move top of the league’s goalscoring charts with 16.
In Regional 1, SONNING also drew 2-2 in their clash against Oxford Hawks 2s.
Colm Hanlon and Patrick Thomas netted for Sonning, who remain 12th.
SONNING 2s were beaten
2-0 at Staines 2s in Division 1, while the 3s lost 2-0 against Banbury 3s.
Tom Scott scored four as
SOUTH BERKSHIRE 3s thrashed Milton Keynes 3s 5-1 in Division
3 with Richard Wallace also on target.
Elsewhere there were defeats for SONNING 4s and 6s while the 5s won, as did SOUTH
BERKSHIRE TERRIERS and SOUTH BERKSHIRE 4s.
Women
SONNING LADIES suffered just a second defeat of the season in Trysports Premier 1.
Maidenhead Ladies 2s, who sat in the relegation zone, ran out 2-1 winners, which leaves Sonning only top now on goal difference. SONNING LADIES 2s are bottom of the league after a 1-0 defeat against Amersham and Chalfont 2s. In Division 1, leaders SOUTH BERKSHIRE 2s were held to a 1-1 draw at Oxford 4s while SONNING 3s were beaten 3-0 at Maidenhead 3s.
Sandra Dodington and Emily Whybrow were among the scorers as SOUTH BERKSHIRE LADIES 3s eased past Maidenhead 4s in Division 3.
Lower down the leagues, SONNING 4s, 5s and SOUTH BERKSHIRE 4s picked up wins but SONNING VETERANS were beaten.
