The sensational sounds of the 60s

-

IT’S ONE of the greatest line-ups in the galaxy and it’s going to be rocking and rolling to The Hexagon later this spring.

The Sensational 60s Experience says it is the biggest and best 60s touring show in the UK, offering three hours of music from one of the most important decades in pop music history.

And it’s packed with some of the biggest names of yesterday, including Mike Pender from The Searchers,

Chris Farlowe, Herman’s Hermits, New Amen Corner, The Fourmost and The Swinging Blue Jeans.

Across the evening, hit after hit after hit will be played not on a jukebox, but live on stage. The line-up includes Needles and Pins, Out of Time, I’m Into Something Good, A Little Lovin, Bend Me Shape Me and Hippy Hippy Shake.

And like all good 60s tunes, with short running times, if you don’t like one song, another hit will be along in a few minutes.

The show is hugely popular and has built up a cult following, with audiences comprising people who were there first time around to those just discovering the joys of 60s music for themselves.

The show will be at The Hexagon in Reading on Friday, March 22 from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £26 or £29, with £3 for groups of 10 or more.
