GOALS from Daniel Townson and Adam Farrell earned Hurst victory over neighbours Finchampstead.

Finch made the short trip to East Park Farm four points ahead of their hosts in the Division One table, but Hurst emerged victorious 2-0, despite ending the game with 10 men with Sean Gracey sent off.

In the same league FC IMAAN LIONS were well beaten 4-0 by Cookham Dean Reserves at Sol Joel Park while WESTWOOD UNITED RESERVES slip to eighth following their 4-1 reverse against Newbury.

Up in the Premier Division, Thomas Nower’s brace helped BERKS COUNTY to a 3-1 win over WOKINGHAM AND EMMBROOK RESERVES.

Dan Money was also on target for Berks while Matt Booth netted the Sumas goal. Berks’ Tyler Hudson was sent off late on at Lowther Road.

WOODLEY UNITED ROYALS stay adrift at the foot of the table following their 6-0 drubbing by Woodcote Stoke Row while WESTWOOD UNITED won 4-1 at Wrightchoice and Unity CSA.

Ashley Lamb scored the only goal as HURST RESERVES edged past AFC CORINTHIANS in Division Two.

Lamb’s effort sees Hurst leapfrog Corinthians and up to fourth in the standings.

Now with 38 goals in 12 Division Three matches, Twyford’s latest success came in a 5-3 win with Sean Kelly scoring a hat-trick while Jack Smillie and Nathan Manser also netted.
