Support Ukraine

-

On International Women’s Day I emailed all 53 Wokingham Borough Councillors individually to ask them to sign up to the White Ribbon pledge.

It has been one year since the horrific abduction and muder of Sarah Everard by a serving Metropolitan Police Officer. Since then 125 women and girls have been killed in the UK by men.

In that time the government has refused to make misogyny a hate crime and a report on the behaviour of police officers at Charing Cross station has made clear that the extent of misogynistic behaviour and culture in the police is far more widespread than “a few bad apples”.

Ahead of the local elections in May, I welcome hearing from each of our elected Councillors whether or not they will personally take the White Ribbon pledge, to never commit, excuse or remain silent about male violence against women.

We must help the Ukrainians more and give them what they have been asking for and it goes on deaf ears -a no fly zone.

It is shameful and not human to for Nato to watch Ukrainian babies, children, women and men murdered by a lunatic that hides away from assassination and the rest of the world, including Britain, does not lift one finger to help.

I am sure Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Regan would have given Russia a bloody nose now Nato is scared. They just talk and waffle and watch them die.

Russia will wipe out Europe if Nato does not act now.

Putin has attacked a nuclear power plant already it is sheer genocide
