Hot under the collar

My, my. Those Climate Warriors really do get hot under the collar when others don’t share so enthusiastically their belief in Climate Change (Crisis, One For The Use Of) in what seems to have become a new religion!.

“Deniers” is the cry that goes up. It’s quite similar to the cry of “Heretics” in a religious setting. It feels uneasy in a democracy. That people can be labelled Deniers (Heretics) just because they don’t share the same absolute beliefs of the Climate Warriors smacks of gross intolerance for the views of others. After all, Climate Change has been going on for billions of years on earth according to scientists.

The very, very inconvenient truth for the Climate Warriors now though is that the agenda has drastically changed and moved on. Experts now say that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the biggest and most immediate threat to humankind.

This is extremely serious. We could all be wiped out very soon because of AI. Yet there is no Just Stop AI, XR AI Rebellion, Insulate Us Against AI and the like. Why aren’t people taking the AI threat more seriously?

The Climate Warriors can rest easy though. Artificial Intelligence could solve the claimed Climate Change Crisis in a very short space of time. This is because if AI does wipe out humankind, there will be no more human-made climate change to worry about.

The Earth’s climate will continue to change of course, as it has done for billions of years, but at least the Climate Warriors will be happy and satisfied at long last,
