SUMAS SQUEEZED OUT BY WEMBLEY

ASCOT UNITED moved up the table as they piled the misery on bottom of the table BINFIELD on Friday night.

An entertaini­ng encounter saw the Moles put up a strong fight as they managed to go in front with goals from Tyler D’Cruz and Jack Matton to cancel out Liam Tack’s opener for Ascot.

However, it was the Yellas who walked away with all three points as Tack netted a second with 15 minutes to go before a Matton own goal settled the game.

Ascot are in 13th on 26 points, while the Moles are bottom on four points from 20 matches.

BRACKNELL TOWN

dropped down to ninth after they were on the end of a one-goal defeat against bottom of the table Didcot Town.

The only goal of the game was scored by the hosts from the penalty spot, while George Knight was sent off for Bracknell.

sit just one place above the foot of the table after their home loss to Wembley.

Jack Mckenzie and Michael O’Connor were on the scoresheet for the Sumas, but they went down 3-2 to Wembley.

Wokingham now find themselves right in the mix in the relegation battle on 15 points from 18 games, while 20th place Hilltop have four games in hand.

READING CITY lost 2-1 on their trip to Virginia Water which keeps them in ninth place.

BURGHFIELD added a point in their 3-3 away draw against Maidenhead Town which saw James McClellan score a 92nd minute leveller to sqaure the game.
