BUSINESS property adviser Christie & Co has announced The Swan pub in Three Mile Cross is set to reopen under new ownership following the sale of the business to Fraser’s Retail.
The Swan has been an integral part of the Three Mile Cross community, with its former owner having run the business for several decades until his passing in 2021.
Its closure left a void in the hearts of many locals, who cherished the pub’s unique charm and character.
After standing dormant, the pub is set to regain its former glory as it welcomes a new operator, Charlotte Grant, who is an ambitious and experienced tenant with deep local ties, and who is committed to reviving the pub.
With a vision to restore The Swan and enhance its offering, Charlotte is poised to reopen its doors later this month and welcome back the community.
She said: “We understand the sentimental value The Swan holds for the residents of Three Mile Cross.
“Our goal is not only to preserve the pub’s rich history, but also to create a welcoming space where people can come together, share stories, and build new memories.”
The plans for The Swan include a thoughtful renovation that pays homage to its heritage, while introducing modern amenities.
The pub will feature a refreshed interior, an updated menu and a carefully curated selection of beverages.
Charlotte is also committed to hosting community events and collaborating with local suppliers to further integrate The Swan into the fabric of the area.
