It must be election year

It must be an election year.

The Liberal Democrats are claiming that they will “help Wokingham’s beleaguered retailers”.

The dimness of the Dim Lib Dems knows no bounds it seems. A very quick fix to help those retailers who rely on people visiting their shops (footfall) would be to lower, by a substantial amount, the car parking charges across the whole Borough.

Of course, it was the Dim Lib Dems who put the car parking charges up by such an extortionate amount in the first place. Oh dear.

This means that their promises of help for retailers are but empty, vacuous words. They seem to be designed to fool the gullible in an election year.

The shameless Lib Dems have I think proved beyond reasonable doubt that they hate motorists full stop. The illegal EScooters are still buzzing around Wokingham though. I met one the other day in Rose Street. Bold as brass the rider was.

Then you have Sir Ed Davey, the Lib Dem Limpet national leader. He has finally got round to apologising to the wronged Postmasters. What took so long? On closer inspection though, the “apology” included his blaming others for his shortcomings as a minister.

Blaming others then, for Lib Dem failings, is done on an industrial scale by the Lib Dems it seems. It is habitual for them. That is how shameless they are.

After all, they are always blaming others for their inability to manage Wokingham Borough Council finances.

Voting Dim Lib Dem would therefore definitely not serve a useful purpose. Especially if people are screaming out for lower car parking charges to aid their local businesses.
