Bank to mark Women’s Day

A READING bank is preparing to mark Internatio­nal Women’s Day with a special networking event.

Business owners and profession­als are invited to the Metro Bank on Broad Street for a light lunch, with the gathering having a theme of Inspire Inclusion. This aims to empower women and foster a culture of diversity and equality in the community.

Women from diverse background­s can come together, share insights, celebrate achievemen­ts and enjoy the chance to have a chat.

Metro says its support reaffirms its commitment to supporting women in business and leadership roles, driving positive change, and promoting inclusivit­y across all sectors.

“We are honoured to host this networking event in celebratio­n of Internatio­nal Women’s Day, celebratin­g the remarkable achievemen­ts and contributi­ons of women in our community,” explains Reading Metro Bank local business manager, Laura Taylor.

“Through meaningful connection­s and shared experience­s, we aspire to inspire inclusion in all aspects of business and society.

Reading Metro Bank is proud to announce its celebratio­n of Internatio­nal Women’s Day by hosting a special networking event and light lunch for local business owners and profession­als. The event runs from 11am to 1pm on Friday, March 1.
