The Nations United – Confidence

There are a lot of very good bands in our area and one of those is Reading band The Nations United.

This is their brand new single and it features a powerful guitar sound, driving rhythm section and an impressive vocal performance.

If you missed their excellent performance as part of the Puma Theory residency at Oakford Social Club recently, don’t fret.

They will be supporting The Dianas at a Club Velocity, Rising Sun Arts Centre Reading show on Friday, April 26 – linktr.ee/thenuofficial

Country Chicks – Country Chicks (Theme Tune)

This band look fun. They are a new all-female country outfit – they are not from Nashville, they are from Berkshire.

They perform classic country hits in their own unique style with four-part harmonies, guitars, fiddle, mandolin, piano, drum and bass and are sure to get the crowd dancing when they perform at Wokingham Festival in August. We can’t wait;.

The Meteors – 40 Days a Rotting

From country, we now move to another classic genre that certainly gets everyone dancing wildly.

Here are those kings of pyschobilly, The Meteors, who have been going for over 40 years but still sound as fresh and exciting as ever as you can hear from this single. It’s the title track of their new album that is due for release on April 5.

The band is embarking on a huge tour which includes a date at Reading Face Bar on April 29.
