BURGHFIELD BEATEN IN CUP FINAL WARM-UP

BRACKNELL TOWN’s play-off hopes took another hit as they were unable to hold their lead against Harrow Borough.

The Robins scored the opening goal of the game in the second-half through Ashley Lodge, but Harrow hit back quickly with a free-kick which was enough to secure them a point.

Bracknell are in eighth spot on 46 points, six points off the play-offs.

Isthmian South Central

ASCOT UNITED picked up their 10th league win of the campaign with a clean sheet victory over South Park.

The Yellas scored late in both halves to seal the win. Harry Laflin put them ahead in the 44th minute before Oliver Harris’ 91st minute goal secured the points.

Ascot are in 13th place on 35 points from 31 games.

BURGHFIELD were beaten in their league encounter with Maidenhead Town, just a week before they face each other in the Charles Twelftree Trophy Final.

Elliott Telford scored late for the Fielders, but it proved to be a consolatio­n goal as Maidenhead came away with a 4-1 win.

Burghfield are in fifth on 21 points from 13 games, while Maidenhead are in seventh on 19 points from 15 matches.

The teams meet in the final on Tuesday, March 12 to fight for silverware.

WOODLEY UNITED

DEVELOPMEN­T stay rooted to the bottom of the table after an away loss at Westwood Wanderers Reserves.

The Kestrels look destined for relegation having collected just three points from 14 games. They do have a chance of survival with three games in hand on ninth placed Hambleden and currently sit seven points behind them. Thames Valley Division Two

YATELEY UNITED A improved their chances of taking the title as they cut the gap to just a point on the leaders with a win at Cookham Dean. A double from Frankie Worthingto­n and a goal from Sam Munden helped them to a 3-1 success to put them within touching distance of Penn & Tylers Green Reserves at the top.
