PANTHERS WIN TO GO TOP, ROBINS RESPOND WITH VICTORY

Thames Valley Women’s Division One

TILEHURST PANTHERS

are in pole position as they continued their exceptiona­l streak with a 4-0 away win against title rivals Slough Town.

Tilehurst have now won all 15 of their league games which puts them level on points with Slough, who

have played four games more.

Kaela-Mei Townson and Charlotte Wheeler were on the scoresheet for the Panthers as was Georgia Hayes who netted a double to help her team to a 4-0 win.

BRACKNELL TOWN

responded from Friday’s 3-1 loss at Hungerford Town by hitting five past Sholing on Monday.

Goals from Ashley Lodge, Joe Grant, Haydon Vaughan, Dara Dada and Evans secured a big win for the Robins.

They sit just one place and two points outside the play-off places.

WOKINGHAM & EMMBROOK

were on the end of back-toback defeats which keeps them t the bottom of the table.

The Sumas lost at home 3-0 to Rayners Lane and were then also beaten 3-0 at Lowther Road by Milton United.

Wokingham are on 21 points from 27 games which leaves them two points behind Hilltop who have two games in hand.

READING CITY lost out

3-0 at home to second placed Flackwell Heath which leaves them in 14th.

Combined Counties Division One

YATELEY UNITED lost two games over the weekend with a 2-0 home defeat to Oxhey

Jets before they were edged out 2-1 by Westside.

The results leave Yateley in fourth position on 67 points.

BERKS COUNTY picked up three points with a home victory against Westside.

The Swords are in third place on 71 points, five points behind second placed British Airways but with two games in hand.

EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA

are currently in the play-off spots after their 1-0 success over Windsor.

WOODLEY UNITED were beaten 2-1 by Langley which leaves them in 15th spot.

WARGRAVE made it 13 wins in a row as goals from Joe Wigmore and Sam Wild helped them beat AFC Winkfield.

Their incredible win streak has lifted them up to second spot in the table where they are level on points with Westwood

FINCHAMPST­EAD kept themselves in the hunt for first with a 4-1 victory away to Maidenhead Town with strikes from Aqeel Butt, Calllum Vallance, Simeon Weekes and Dylan Parmar.Finch are in third on 38 points from 19 matches.

READING YMCA moved up to eighth position with a 2-1 triumph over Holyport Reserves with a double from Sam Tucker.

BURGHFIELD are in fifth after they lost 4-2 to Westwood Wanderers.
