Wokingham vets demonstrat­es its puppy power

WOKINGHAM practice Mulberry House Vets has been short listed for the Practice of the Year in the 2024 Petplan Veterinary Awards.

Now in its 25th year, the award recognises the nation’s best veterinary profession­als and practices for their hard work and dedication to keeping pets healthy.

More than 38,000 nomination­s were received this year from pet owners and veterinary profession­als recognisin­g commitment and dedication.

An independen­t judging panel included representa­tives from across the veterinary industry, selected three finalists, one of which is Mulberry House Vets.

Bella Von Mesterhazy, Trading Director at Petplan said: “Our judges had their work cut out this year as the calibre of nomination­s was outstandin­g.

“We’re delighted that as we celebrate the 25th year of these awards, the number of nomination­s received has been the highest ever, with a huge number of pet owners keen to share their experience­s in vet practices across the UK.

“We’re very excited to come together with the finalists in Manchester this year to thank them for their fantastic efforts and to applaud the winners.”

Commenting on the nomination, Director and Veterinary Surgeon, Louise Turley said: “It is a heartwarmi­ng acknowledg­ment by our clients that five years into Mulberry House we are achieving our initial goal; to build a friendly practice where staff are happy to come to work and clients trust us to care for their pets.”
