ROYALS PUT SEASON TICKETS ON SALE FOR NEXT SEASON

-

READING Football Club has announced that season tickets for the 2024/25 season are on sale for renewals and general sale.

The Royals are currently fighting for League One survival and sit six points above the relegation zone heading into the final five games of the season.

Despite not knowing whether the team will be playing League One or League Two football next season, fans have the chance to secure their season tickets for the next campaign.

Adult season tickets in the Eamonn Dolan family stand will cost £340 to renew and £365 for new purchases. 65 and overs will pay £250 for renewal and £275 for new purchases.

Tickets for 18-24 will cost £165 for renewals and £185 for new purchases.

The renewal date for season ticket holders expires at 5pm on Friday, June 14.

The Royals fans have shown their tremendous support for the team all season throughout another turbulent year which has seen of- field problems under Dai Yongge cause yet more points deductions.

With Dai Yongge currently in negotiations to sell the club after exclusivity was signed with an unnamed party last month regarding a takeover, the fans will be hoping for a brighter future under new ownership.

The club says: “Season Tickets are without a doubt the most cost-effective way to back the Royals, with an Adult season ticket saving you up to £12 per game across all four stands. A child with a season ticket can watch every league game for just £1.”

“We have applied a small increase (roughly 4%), on prices for the upcoming campaign which has been driven by an increased cost of operating.

“In general, matchday operating costs are set to increase in excess of 5%.

“Whilst we will not pass this all on to our supporters, for the club to operate in a fiscally responsible way, we have reflected this in our overall season ticket pricing – one example of this increased operating cost include a significant rise in the National Minimum Wage.

“Despite this, we will be freezing prices for U13 season tickets in The Eden Vauxhall Family Stand (Eamonn Dolan Stand), as we look to make this area as attractive as possible for families and of course, the next generation of Royals fan.”
