What I really use by a beauty insider
Facial aesthetics doctor and oculoplastic surgeon Dr Maryam Zamani reveals her must-have beauty stash
MAKE-UP
Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in smoky Emerald, £19 as somebody who works with eyes, I don’t like products that you need to pull your eyelid to use. this draws on nice and smoothly, and I absolutely love the colour.
EYES
MZ skin soothe & smooth Collagen Activating Eye Complex, £90, mzskin.com the skin around the eye is super thin and prone to dark circles and fine lines. this contains ingredients that help shrink the blood vessels to diminish circles, and it hydrates the skin at the same time.
FACE
Tom Ford Bronzing Powder, £52 Honestly, this is the best bronzer ever. I buy one and it lasts me the entire year. It’s beautifully packaged, not sparkly, it makes me look sun-kissed in the summer, and in winter it makes me look like I’m not the colour of the wall!
DEFENCE
Neostrata sheer Physical Protection sPF 50, £29.99 I wear an sPF every day, but I like to alternate brands. this is very light and matte – I don’t like heavy things on my face in general.
LIPS
Blistex dCT daily Conditioning Treatment sPF 20, £7.73 this is always by my bed, in every bathroom and in my handbag! It’s very inexpensive, not sticky, extremely hydrating and it contains sPF too.
HAIR
Kérastase Bain Volumifique, £19.50
I have the straightest hair ever, so I couldn’t live without my volumising products. I’m always told I have very healthy hair by anyone who’s cutting it and I think it’s because I pretty much only use this. w&h
